FIRST ANNIVERSARY
Red Thread Artists Studio in Miami warmly embraced the profound words of Danie Gomez Ortigoza within a nurturing women’s circle. This ceremony transformed the energy of our collective space, inviting us to honor someone special while intentionally creating an altar adorned with white flowers. We were evolving into a new version of ourselves, reflecting on parts we had yet to discover, and acknowledging our growth as individuals within a collective. We were reminded of the power of community and our connection through an invisible thread, where our strength intertwined with the past, present, and future—symbolized by the three strands of hair we braided together. It was a beautiful gathering filled with admiration for one another and mutual respect.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to every artist and soul who joined us in that circle of flowers, and special gratitude to Danie Gomez Ortigoza for weaving us together with your words and helping us realize our full potential within this artistic community. We departed feeling rejuvenated and inspired, our hearts brimming with gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose. This experience highlighted the importance of nurturing our creative spirits while supporting each other on our artistic journeys. As we returned to our individual practices, the lessons learned stayed with us, urging us to push boundaries and explore new possibilities as we start a new year.
